Rosy was born in the UK and came to live as a permanent citizen in Australia in 2004. She has 3 children and works in the mental health setting. Rosy has a degree in Spanish, a masters in speech pathology and a post graduate certificate in youth mental health. She has worked many varied jobs including, an assistant art director in film and TV in the UK and as a speech pathologist in Sydney.
Since joining the Australian art community she has been in multiple national prizes. In 2019 she won the AME Bale prize in the painting category and has been a finalist in this prize again since. Other prizes include Amber Creswell-Bell Selects; Lethbridge Small Works; The Waverley Art Prize; Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize; Gosford Art Prize; Doug Moran Portrait Prize (semi-finalist) Portia Geach Memorial Award 2021, 2023.
In 2022 she won a two week residency program at Bundanon Trust via the William Fletcher Foundation.
Rosy regularly exhibits work as an exhibiting member of The Royal Art Society and in galleries in Sydney.
