Rosy was born in Norwich, UK and came to live in Australia in 2004. She has 3 children and works in Sydney's Selective Mutism Clinic..
In 2019 she won the AME Bale prize in the painting category.
Other finalist prizes include: Amber Creswell-Bell Selects; Lethbridge Small Works; The Waverley Art Prize; Rick Amor Self Portrait Prize; Gosford Art Prize; Doug Moran Portrait Prize (semi-finalist); Portia Geach Memorial Award (2021, 2023); North Sydney Art Prize.
In 2023 she attended a two week residency program at Bundanon Trust via the William Fletcher Foundation.
Rosy regularly exhibits work as an exhibiting member of The Royal Art Society and in galleries in Sydney.
Her work is held in private collections internationally: Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, New York.
